MEMBERSHIP

To become a financial member of the RBAA Club fill in the appropriate form below. Choose the type/s of membership you require. Multiple memberships can be done on one form. For example: select 1 Adult + 1 Junior and the form will provide the space needed to complete the form. You can do up to 6 adults, cadets and juniors on a single application.

Once you complete the form and pay for your membership, you will receive a confirmation email with a welcome package attached. Memberships renew annually on the 1st of February.

Early Membership Renewal is available until 30 November 2024
$85 Adult (18 – 70 yrs), Veteran (70+ yrs) $65, Cadet $45 (15 – 18 yrs) Junior (4 – 14 yrs) $15

Membership fees paid after 30 November 2024
$95 Adult, Veteran $75, Cadet $55, Junior $25

Rainbow Beach Amateur Anglers Inc (RBAA) is a fun family-oriented club focused on all aspects of inshore and offshore fishing. Fishing the unspoiled waters of Rainbow Beach, the Great Sandy Straights & K’gari (Fraser Island) we promote both serious competitive club fishing and fun social fishing events.

Currently, the RBAA offers a range of activities for our members together with some added member benefits as outlined below.

REGULAR COMPETITIONS

RBAA has developed and employed a unique length based points system and our club’s own bag limits to create a challenging and sustainable format that ensures members get the maximum amount of fun while fishing our regular comps. Each month there are junior and adult trophies on offer, we also select seasonal species in addition to the regular comp as added targets for members.

FISHING TIPS

We cater to all ages and experience levels with our goal being to create better anglers, come to our monthly competition weigh-ins and get some advice and tips from experienced club anglers to improve your catch.

SOCIAL TRIPS

Social trips are a great way to meet fellow club members, obtain some fishing tips from other members and visit some magnificent locations throughout the Cooloola and Fraser Coasts and adjacent hinterland.

Some suggested locations for 2025 are K’gari (Fraser Island) Dundaburra or Waddy Point, Lake Monduran, Lake Borumba and Trinity Islands (Burrum Heads).
